Derek T. Braslow is a founding partner of Pogust Braslow & Millrood LLC who has managed the firm's mass tort, class action and personal injury litigation practice since its inception. He has prosecuted complex, class action and pharmaceutical litigation on behalf of consumers, employees and those injured by dangerous drugs and medical devices. Derek has devoted his legal career to protecting the rights of individuals against large corporate interests.
Derek has been a featured speaker and moderator on the topics of clinical trials, bioethics and pharmaceutical litigation and policy, federal preemption, antidepressants and suicide and birth defects, flouroquinolones and tendon ruptures and chinese drywall litigation at conferences sponsored by the American Association for Justice, the American Bar Association and the International Center for the Study of Psychiatry and Psychology. Additionally, he has testified before the FDA's Psychopharmacologic Drug Advisory Committee regarding the risk of suicide and antidepressants and has been counsel to numerous clients who have testified before the FDA's Subcommittees regarding the deadly risks of ADHD drugs and antidepressants for children and adolescents.
Prior to founding PBM, Derek was a shareholder with the South Jersey law firm of Sherman, Silverstein, Kohl, Rose & Podolsky, where he represented clients in clinical trials litigation, personal injury, plaintiff’s insurance litigation, commercial litigation, drug and vaccine litigation and employment disputes. |
