Derek T. Braslow is a founding partner of Pogust Braslow & Millrood LLC and has devoted his legal career to fighting on behalf of his injured clients against drug companies, health institutions, and insurance companies.
Derek has been an advocate for children, adolescents and adults who have become suicidal allegedly as a result of ingesting psychotropic medication. He has been a featured speaker on clinical trials, bioethics and pharmaceutical litigation and policy at conferences sponsored by the American Bar Association and the International Center for the Study of Psychiatry and Psychology. Additionally, he has testified before the FDA's Psychopharmacologic Drug Advisory Committee regarding the risk of suicide and antidepressants and has been counsel to numerous clients who have testified before the FDA's Subcommittees regarding the deadly risks of ADHD drugs and antidepressants for children and adolescents. |
