Philadelphia Hormone Therapy Jury Selection Begins Tomorrow October, 2009On Monday, October 19, 2009, Pogust, Braslow, & Millrood, together with attorneys from Finkelstein & Partners (NY), will bring the fifth case to be tried in the hormone therapy (HT) litigation before a Philadelphia jury.
The trial, which is before the Honorable Judge DiNubile, will be the second held in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas in the past month. The first trial resulted with a remarkable plaintiffs' verdict over $3.7 million not including punitive damages. As jury selection is set to begin tomorrow, October 15, 2009, Plaintiffs' attorneys, including Tobi Millrood who was recently featured in the June 2009 issue of Philadelphia Magazine and named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer for 2009, are very optimistic given the success of other cases tried across the country.
Tobi Millrood actively represents hundreds of women in their lawsuits against the drug manufacturers of hormone replacement therapy medications. In fact, he is one many attorneys across the country who together represent over 16,160 women who took these medications to control menopausal symptoms but have since suffered from breast cancer, heart attacks, strokes, blood clots, and other types of cancers.
